COVID-19 situation in Rovaniemi
Hey student! Please note, that the COVID-19 situation in Rovaniemi has gotten worse. This means new regulations for example for gatherings and restaurants. Gatherings over 20 people should not be held and restaurants will close earlier.

Survey about Lapland university sport services
Answer a survey for students at the University of Lapland about Lapland’s university sport services. The survey clarifys students’ views and experiences of Lapland’s university sport services. The survey is anonymous and its results will be used to develop sports services.
LYY met with rector Syväjärvi
The Student Union of the University of Lapland met with the rector of the University of Lapland Antti Syväjärvi on Friday 23.10.2020 to discuss about equality and the students’ position as a decision maker in the University of Lapland. LYY brought up the need for this discussion beforehand by making a statement to the University’s administration.
Nyyti ry Chats
Nyyti’s Chat is a place for sharing ideas and experiences. Group chat is about different topics that affect the student’s everyday life.
Nyyti’s group chat is meant for all students. You don’t have to register or sign up to the chat. Conversation will be held via usernames. The chats are focused on one specific topic.The chats are also attended by employees and volunteers of Nyyti and occasionally by experts from different fields.

Ministry of the Environment’s survey
Through this online consultation, the Ministry of the Environment wishes to hear people’s views on how public participation and access to information should be taken into account in the new Climate Change Act.
