The LYY board elected Krista Ulkuniemi as the new Adviser of Educational and Social Affairs. Krista, who is completing her master’s studies in political science, has a solid background in student advocacy with several years of organizational experience.

“I am excited about the opportunity to work on students’ issues. During the parliamentary elections this spring, it is critical to make the students’ voices heard and to get others to talk about the students’ issues as well as the students themselves. I believe that in this job I will be able to make use of my social science education and develop my own expertise”, Krista says.
