Taekwon-Do is a martial art, self-defense, and combat sport originating from Korea. Training is divided into five main areas: fundamental movements, patterns, sparring, power breaking/conditioning, and self-defense. Taekwon-Do is suitable for all ages, and starting does not require supernatural flexibility or elite athletic abilities.

The goal of the beginner’s course is to provide the basic skills for safe training and to begin developing the physical conditioning characteristic of martial arts. Additionally, the course prepares participants for their first belt exam. After passing the exam, students can participate in the club’s other training sessions and events organized by the ITF Taekwon-Do Federation of Finland.

Underwater rugby is a fast-paced, three-dimensional team sport played underwater. The sport combines swimming, diving, ball handling, and teamwork.

Underwater Rugby Rovaniemi offers Hyvinvointipassi holders two free trial sessions during our regular Tuesday practices from 20:15 to 21:15.

You do not need any previous experience in the sport, but participation requires the ability to swim 200 meters. The game is played in the deep end of the pool and involves diving to the bottom.

All you need to bring is a swimsuit. You can borrow a mask, a snorkel, and fins if needed.
