LYY Goes Kulttuuri by ESN Lapland
LYY Goes Kulttuuri is back again! Now it is magical chance to go and see ice hockey here in Rovaniemi. Be ready to cheer home team RoKI to win. Take all your friends with you and experience wonderful atmosphere in game. The game starts at 18.30pm but it would be good be there a little earlier.

The student tutor guides the new students to their new university and Rovaniemi, gives advice and tutors the students in studying along with different issues about student life. Tutors also earn little money and they get study credits.

Our student union magazine is looking for assistants! Open meeting at LYY’s Office on Thursday 12.3. at 6 pm.
Kosmos Buran Annual ball 14.3.
Welcome to celebrate the 7-year-old Kosmos Buran ry!
The student association of political science and sosiology of University of Lapland, Kosmos Buran ry, celebrates its 7th annual ball. This time the event will be held in Lähteentien Pirtti (Lähteentie 1) on Saturday the 14th of March 2020 at 6pm. During the evening, we will enjoy a vegan three-course dinner and some interesting program.

Dash Lapland brings people together from all over the world to a unique environment to experience the power of teamwork. We believe that an open and supportive environment where people willing to constitute change and companies in need of new solutions, together are the key to creative new solutions and learning from each other. This year there are 6 companies bringing their challenge to the event: OP, Posti Group, Fiskars Group, Polar, BRP and Hannes Snellman. The challenges will be posted at the beginning of next week and the application period for participants begins on the 26th of February! Read more from here!

All the members of LYY are welcome to join the Council of Representatives’ meeting! Please note that the meeting will be held in Finnish. The meeting is at LS2 at 3PM, but you can also catch it online via LYY’s FB-live!

LYYski at Suomutunturi 27.3.
80’s-themed skiing with LYY? Yes, please!
LYYski is held for the very first time on Suomutunturi on Friday 27.3.! The buses will depart from the university at 9:30 in the morning and come back around 00:00. There’s about 6 hours time for skiing at Suomu ski center. There will also be some small contests and exciting things to do. In the evening we will head for After-Ski at a location that will be released later. The After-Ski party will also have some 80’s vibes. Please note, that the LYYski-event lasts for the whole day and no bus will depart back to the Uni earlier in the evening. The event is for LYY members only.

Rent LYY’s Sauna for your parties
Student Union’s Sauna is available for renting during the summertime. If you are a member of the Student Union of the University of Lapland, the renting costs you 100 euros / night. For non-members the price from Sunday to Thursday is 150 euros / night and from Friday to Saturday 200 euros / night.
