LYY’s executive board re-appointed working sectors in its meeting in August.  At the same time, the board decided on its representatives in different working groups and the presidencies of LYY’s committees. 

In June, LYY’s representative board elected Lotta Laitila as a new member of LYY’s board, starting on August 1, 2022. Laitila’s area of responsibility in the board is communication. 

Vice-chair of the board Eetu Ahvensalmi is responsible for free time, Elias Id for education policy and finance and working life and sports, Miila Lumijärvi for social policy and tutoring, Evilla Lumme for municipal and electional affairs and Viljo Vuorimäki for internationality and responsibility. 

The chairpersons of the committees were appointed by the board as follows: 

Study committee: HJ Id  

Well-being committee: HJ Lumijärvi, vice president HJ Id 

Communications committee: HJ Laitila, vice president HVPJ Ahvensalmi 

Internationality committee: HJ Vuorimäki 

Responsibility committee: HJ Vuorimäki 

Free-time committee: HVPJ Ahvensalmi
