LYY’s Equality and Non-discrimination Survey
Every two years, we carry out a survey to find out how students in our community are doing. By taking part, you’ll be helping us in our work to maintain a supportive, inclusive and thriving student community. A prize draw for cinema tickets will be held amongst those who respond. The survey is open until November 3rd. Take the survey here! You can also find the link in our Instagram bio.

Letter to the editor on student loan compensation
Member of the Executive Board Aho drafted an opinion piece on the comprehensive reform of student financial aid currently under consideration—specifically addressing student loan compensation—which was published in Lapin Kansa on September 29. The op-ed’s main criticism is directed at the amount of the student loan compensation, which, if the proposal is passed, would result in a significant cut to the compensation paid out. The full op-ed can be read on the Lapin Kansa website.
