The Student Union of the University of Lapland has decided not to organize the Semester start (3.9.) and the Freshmen party (8.9.). The reason for the cancellation is the continued acceleration phase in Rovaniemi. The events are not held for health reasons but the cancellation has also been affected by restaurant restrictions in the area.
