The highest decision-making power in the Student Union of the University of Lapland (LYY) is exercised by the Council of Representatives. The Council of Representatives is elected by the members of the Student Union by proportional election. The term of office of the current Council of Representatives expires on 30 November 2023 and the new Council of Representatives will begin its two-year term on 1 December 2023. The Council of Representatives consists of twenty (20) members.

Only members of the Student Union who have registered to attend the University of Lapland no later than 14 September 2023 have the right to vote in the Representative Council elections.The Representative Council Election is held electronically. You can vote in the Tuudo app or online at vaalit.tuudo.fi. Voting began on 2 November 8:00 AM and ends on 8 November 8:00 PM.You can find your candidate via the Election Compass!
