LYY Board decided that September 1 onwards the physical student card will cost 15 €. The price increase is due to the increase in the cost of individualizing the cards and the overall estimate of the costs related to the card. The physical student card is ordered through the Kide.app application. The card is delivered to LYY, and LYY will notify you when the card can be picked up. Please note that the student card in question is intended for bachelor’s and master’s degree students, and postgraduate students cannot be issued with an academic year sticker, which entitles them to, for example, Kela-supported student meals.

Please note that a physical student card is not mandatory, as you can use a digital card, for example using the Tuudo application.
