Due to the difficult housing situation in Rovaniemi, temporary accommodation for students will be extended until the end of November. Temporary housing will be available from August 11 to November 30, 2025.

Accommodation is booked at LYY’s office on Ahkiomaantie, where you will also receive the key and pay the accommodation fee. The key must be returned to the same office once the stay ends.

Residents must bring their own sleeping bag or blanket and pillow, bed linen, as well as any towels and dishes they may need. LYY and DAS do not provide these items. Separate facilities are available for men and women. The premises include a refrigerator and a stove, while showers and toilets are located in the sauna building.

The price of the accommodation is €12 per night. The payment is binding and will not be refunded even if the stay ends earlier than expected. Separate laundry times are allocated for temporary residents.

DAS offers continuous housing applications, with apartments becoming available every month. Applications can be submitted at any time via the DAS website. In addition, housing opportunities can be found through the LYY website.
