RepCo guides and develops the actions of the Student Union and makes the principles for it to make the actions of the Executive Board possible. RepCo also makes decision of rules and documents that guide the actions of the Student Union such as plan of actions and documents that control the economics of the Student Union such as budget. RepCo also yearly chooses the Executive Board of the Student Union and Student Representatives of the Administration. These decisions are made in the meetings that are usually held once a months (not including summer months).
Why should you be interested of the elections?
The fact that who will be chosen to represent our community of around 4000 students at the RepCo, has an effect on the actions of the Student Union. By voting and standing as a candidate, you’ll get to have say on who’s representing on the decision-making progress.
If you are thinking of standing as a candidate, you must do it no later than 7.10.2025. You can do it by joining some electoral association as its candidate or by establishing your own. There are multiple electoral associations from faculties and subject association’s electoral associations to political associations. In electoral associations, all the votes its candidates receive will be collected to shared pot, so benefitting its every candidate. Same goes for electoral associations, the votes will be collected into shared pot of candidates from all the associations in it. Read more about these from our ABC of nominating candidates.
