The Executive Board

The practical activities of the Student Union are managed by the Executive Board, which is elected annually in November-December by the Representative Council. The Executive Board consists of a chair and 4–8 board members. The board’s duties include implementing the decisions made by the student Union’s Council of Representatives. The board works closely with the office staff to promote the interests of students and maintain student culture at the University of Lapland. Membership of the board is a position of trust. The board decides on its own division of areas of responsibilities each year.
