The University of Lapland is looking for enthusiastic students to join the Welcoming Buddy program! As a Welcoming Buddy, you will support new exchange students upon their arrival in Rovaniemi and help them navigate their first weeks of the exchange experience. Your contribution will make a real difference!

What do we expect from you?
– Participation in training sessions on May 15th (12:00–14:00) and May 21st (13:00–15:00).
– Availability for arrival support starting no later than August 11th (around 8 exchange students will be assigned to you).
– Assistance and participation in parts of the orientation program (August 19th–22nd).
– Pre-arrival communication and support for exchange students.
– Motivation to help new students settle in.
– Good command of English.
– Previous international experience is a plus but not required.
– You must be a student at the University of Lapland.
