The space is a suitable venue for events but also has an assembly room. Reserving the subject association lounge is free of charge. The student union takes care of the lounge together with the university. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The space has two separate parts: a couch area and a sittning (<em>fin. sitsit<\/em>) area. The sittning area has tables and chairs for organizing a sittning event. In the bigger couch area there is a small kitchen corner that has a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee-maker and a sink. However there is no oven. Each user of the space takes care of the tidiness of the space. The cleaning supplies can be found from the bigger couch area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you have questions, don\u2019t hesitate to\ncontact the Adviser of Organizations and Communications: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">jarjestoasiantuntija(at)lyy.fi&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Would\nyou like to have your event at the subject association lounge?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1) Make a reservation in the subject\nassociation lounge\u2019s own reservation calendar. Also check that there aren\u2019t any\nother reservations at the time. (Questions on availability: <em>jarjestoasiantuntija<\/em><em>(at)lyy.fi)<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2)\u00a0Name a person in charge of the organizing. That has to be a person who already has a right to enter the space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) Inform the janitors of your event via email\nabout a week before the reservation begins. &nbsp;Remember to mention in the message who is the\nperson in charge of the event. The head of the janitors will forward the\ninformation the other janitors: &nbsp;<em>heikki.aakkonen<\/em><em>(at)ulapland.fi<\/em>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<em>hanna.aakkonen<\/em><em>(at)ulapland.fi<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4) If the event lasts really late in the\nevening the person in charge has to sign in to the space after 8 PM but before\n10 PM. The signing-in happens by showing the electronic key to the reader\noutside the outer door or the white door in the hallway. Notice that this\nshould be done also when the person in charge has entered the space with the\nelectronic key before 8 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The front door should never be opened from the\ninside with the electronic key during the event because this triggers the\nalarms. The people who use the front door after 8 PM have to use the the lock\nor open the door with the exterior e-key reader from the outside. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5) The person in charge of the event is always\nthe last person who leaves the space. They have to show their e-key to the\nfront door\u2019s interior reader after everybody\u2019s already went outside. This is how\nthe alarms of the space are set on for the night. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6) On Sundays the alarms are on throughout the\nday and they are stop being active once the e-key is shown at the front door.\nThe usage of the e-key must be especially strict and the person in charge must\nnot use the e-key to open the door from the inside before everybody else has left.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7) The participants must be informed that they\ncannot enter the subject association lounge through the university hallway\noutside the university\u2019s opening hours. (After&nbsp;8PM on Mon-Fri, after 4 PM on\nSaturdays and the whole Sunday.
